Meet Your Cross City Dental Team
Our team is truly the heart and soul of our practice, and when we come to work every day, we only have one goal in mind: to give you the most stress-free dental experience imaginable. We are here to answer your questions and make sure you have everything you need before, during, and after your appointments. Below, you can get to know some of the friendly faces you’ll meet here at Cross City Dental.
Jeanine Hurst - Office Manager
I first joined Cross City Dental as a dental assistant in 2015, and after leaving the practice for a little time, I came back to become the office manager in 2017. When you come to visit us, I’ll be one of the smiles you see as you come through the door! I’m truly passionate about people, and I enjoy the relationships I’m able to form with our patients as I help them navigate through their insurance benefits.
I look upon Cross City Dental as an extension of my family. I and the rest of the team work together like a well-oiled machine in order to provide the best experience for each and every patient.
I was born and raised in the Dixie County area, as were my parents and grandparents. I graduated from both Dixie County High School and Lake City Community College. Away from the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 3 children. As a family, we like to go hunting, fishing, mud bogging, air boating, and visit the beach. Overall, I would say my greatest passion is spending time with all of my family during the holidays.
Brandy Smith - Receptionist
Hi! My name is Brandy Smith, and I’m the receptionist here at Cross City Dental. I have two children, ages 2 and 6, and in my spare time, I like to go hunting and fishing. I have always loved any activities that are outdoors. I am extremely excited to work here and am happy to help and answer any questions you may have. Please call or stop by the office anytime you need help! I look forward to welcoming you to our friendly practice!
Delene Robson - Dental Hygienist
After graduating from Dixie County High School in 1986, I began the dental assisting program at Santa Fe College just three weeks later. I received my dental assisting certification in 1987 and worked for 2 years while attending hygiene school in Sante Fe. I went on to complete my Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 1989. Now, I have been in the dental profession for over 30 years, and I’ve loved every minute of it! The challenges are worth the reward of sharing in my patients’ achievements and calming their fears. My patients are my family, and I treat all of them as such.
I have spent my life in Cross City, and I count it as a blessing that I get to work in my hometown. Dr. Novikov and the staff at Cross City Dental are simply the best! I still, even after 30 years, look forward to coming to work every day because I enjoy our well-organized and state-of-the-art practice.
When I’m away from the office, I like to mostly spend time with my family. My husband Jody and I have 3 beautiful daughters and a courageous son. They keep me very active with sports, hunting, fishing, kayaking, and going to the beach (which is my favorite place). We also like to stay very involved in our church.
Caysie Douglas - Dental Assistant
My name is Caysie Jean Douglas, and I am a dental assistant here at Cross City Dental. I am a lifelong resident of Horseshoe Beach. I’m also a graduate of Dixie County High School and received my associate’s degree from Lake City Community College in 2016.
I like to spend my spare time helping my grandparents, hanging out with friends, and pampering my Pomeranian-Yorkie mix, Charlie. I really enjoy coming to work because of my awesome coworkers, and we all can’t wait to meet you!
Raelynn Brownell - Dental Assistant
I was born in Virginia and moved to Dixie County when I was a young girl. I graduated from Dixie County High School in 2004 and set my roots in Horseshoe Beach to start a family and my career in dentistry. In 2011, I began working at Cross City Dental. I really enjoy the opportunity to educate our patients about proper oral homecare, and I also like seeing them filled with joy after they have a great experience with us.
At home, I like to spend most of my time with my fiancé, John, and my young son, Wyatt. I live on a ranch with a bunch of animals, but my horses are my favorite. One of my biggest goals in life is passing my love of the outdoors and animals onto my son. And, I just recently started a new hobby: gardening! My thumbs are already turning green!
